OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma)
A
diploma may be awarded:

upon completion of 30 credits
-
these must include four Senior Level credits,
including Grade 12 English
-
students may be granted some credits for
learning outside of school or for education
completed in another province or country
(see PLAR)

students who began school in Ontario after
1999, must complete the Ontario Literacy
Test or Literacy Course in order to be
eligible for a diploma
All
diplomas earned during the school year will
be awarded in June.
